Some of the Regions We Source From

Rooted in Kenya's
finest growing regions.

These are a few of the regions we source from — each with its own geography, microclimate, and farming heritage. We go there not just to buy coffee, but to understand the land it comes from.

Rolling green hills of Nyeri Kenya with coffee farms and Mount Kenya in the background

Nyeri

The Crown of Kenya Coffee

Altitude

1,700–2,100m

Soil

Deep volcanic red loam

Nestled between the Aberdare Range and Mount Kenya, Nyeri's smallholder farms have shaped Kenya's global coffee reputation for over a century. Cool nights and equatorial sun create a growing environment that is almost impossible to replicate.

Kirinyaga

Rich Volcanic Soils

Altitude

1,500–1,900m

Soil

Fertile volcanic loam

Sitting on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya, Kirinyaga benefits from mineral-rich volcanic soils and reliable rainfall patterns. Generations of farming families have cultivated a deep knowledge of the land that shows in every harvest.

Murang'a

Heritage Smallholder Farms

Altitude

1,400–1,800m

Soil

Clay-loam with high organic matter

One of Kenya's oldest coffee-growing counties, Murang'a is defined by its dense network of smallholder cooperatives. The community-led model ensures meticulous cherry selection and a strong chain of custody from tree to export.

Embu

Eastern Slopes, Bold Character

Altitude

1,400–1,700m

Soil

Well-drained sandy loam

On the eastern face of Mount Kenya, Embu receives a distinct microclimate that sets it apart from its neighbours. The region is an emerging voice in specialty sourcing — one we have been proud to champion since our first season.

Our sourcing relationships are built season by season — through farm visits, cooperative partnerships, and a commitment to paying prices that reflect the true value of the work.

Origin Sourcing Partner

Because we
Respect Origin.

We are not just a green coffee trader. We are an origin sourcing partner — working in close collaboration with farmers and other industry partners across Kenya — and a roasted coffee brand, Terrani Coffee, that proves the quality of every lot we export.

“Fresh Kenyan coffee, sourced at origin and roasted for clarity, balance, and bold flavour.” The same beans. The same farmers. Now available as green for your roastery.

Sourced at Origin

We work in close collaboration with farmers and washing stations, building lasting partnerships rooted in trust and shared purpose.

Roasted & Validated

Every green lot we export has been cupped, roasted, and proven. Our roasted brand is the living proof of what these beans can do.

Transparent Partnership

Built on transparency and traceability. We share full farm-to-export documentation with every shipment.

What drives us

Four values.
One purpose.

01

Respecting Origin

We believe every coffee is unique — and we refuse to classify all Kenyan coffee as one single taste. Different terroirs produce different flavour profiles, and we celebrate that. As long as a farmer has done their very best work, we want to share that coffee with the world.

Every terroir tells its own story

02

Quality at Every Step

We cup every lot before it leaves Kenya. No compromises on screen size, moisture content, or cup score. The same beans power Terrani Coffee's roasted line — your roast deserves a reliable, exceptional green.

03

Accessibility

Premium Kenyan green coffee shouldn't require a large importer. We work with roasters of all sizes — from 10-bag trial orders to full container shipments. Let's brew something great together.

Minimum order: 30kg

04

Exploration

Beyond the familiar Nyeri AA, we actively seek emerging regions and experimental processes — honey, anaerobic, and natural lots that push Kenya's potential. Many of these coffees are also offered through our roasted line at Terrani Coffee.
